Is there any cost to attend a PLU-Wang Center International Symposium?

There is no cost or registration necessary.

How can I get involved in a PLU-Wang Center International Symposium?

Students, staff, and faculty can get involved by serving on the CIS committee, and by actively participating in CIS sessions. Community members may also volunteer to help with CIS, which counts on volunteers for everything from airport shuttles to introducing speakers. Who may attend a PLU-Wang Center International Symposium?

The symposium is open to the entire community. Anyone with an interest in the topic being discussed is welcome to attend all or part of CIS.

How do I get to the Symposium?

To get to Pacific Lutheran University, either place the university name or address in Google Search or MapQuest. The campus address is 12180 Park Avenue South.

To get to Pacific Lutheran University coming north on I-5 from Portland or south from Seattle, take the WA-512 exit heading east. Then take the WA-7 Exit and turn south on Pacific Highway South. Turn right on Garfield Street.

Once on campus, looking for parking lots marked for the symposium.

Directions to the Tacoma Trade and Convention Center: From I-5, take the I-705 N, Exit 133, toward the City Center. Take the 21st Street ramp. Take a left on S. 21st Street. Take a right on Pacific Avenue. Take a left on S. 17th Street. Turn right on Broadway.
