Password

Access to systems requiring login.

Passwords, along with a username, are required for access to electronic resources.  These resources may contain private data or be available for the exclusive use of the PLU community.  Passwords should contain a random series of letters, numbers and special characters and be changed regularly.  Among the PLU systems that require passwords are:

1. ePass: this password is also used for Sakai, Gmail, personal computer registration, car registration, dining plan selection, selected Library databases and other selected electronic resources
2. Banner: this password is separate from the ePass and includes access to class registration, class schedules and administrative functions of the Banner system
