Orchestra Clinics at PLU
Each year youth orchestras and orchestras from high schools, junior highs and middle schools from throughout the region visit our campus in order to receive a clinic session from our faculty members. A clinic session can be a useful opportunity in a number of ways.
Your students have chance to receive feedback similar to what they might expect at a festival.
Your students receive solid teaching like you provide, but with a fresh voice and perspective.
Your ensemble can benefit form the acoustic feedback that an excellent venue like Lagerquist Hall has to offer.
Your students also get a window into musical life on a college campus.
While they are here your students can tour our campus and have lunch at one of our several campus restaurants.
Bring Your Orchestra To Our Stage!
Putting your orchestra on a great stage and exposing them to new voices is just one more excellent tool for pushing them to the next level. If you want to arrange a visit, contact us with the date(s) you have in mind. Contact Shirley Garrison to start the process.
