I grew up in the Tacoma area and began working for PLU in the fall of 2000, shortly after graduation from Western Washington University. I started work at PLU as a software support specialist and manager of the main computer lab on campus, which was then located in the University Center. I was eventually promoted into the position of User Support Team Lead where I oversaw all hardware and software support, computer purchases and the computer replacement cycle for the university, as well as the operation of the Help Desk. Then, in the summer of 2020 I transitioned into my current roll of Director of User Support and Instructional Technologies. I now manage an amazing group of staff and students who provide a wide range of technology services for the campus community in support of teaching and learning at PLU.
