Biography

Molly Pugh is an experienced instructional facilitator and English LanguageĀ Arts educator with more than two decades in secondary and higher education. Her work centers on teacher preparation, instructional coaching, curriculum and assessment design, standards-based instruction and grading, and professional learning for new and veteran educators.

Previously, Molly served as a Clinical Instructor in the University of Puget Sound School of Education, where she supervised Master of Arts in Teaching candidates and taught courses in professional issues, secondary methods, and culturally responsive and antiracist education. She has also led equity-focused curriculum development, teacher mentoring, and professional-development initiatives in collaboration with local schools and community partners.

In addition to her work in higher education, Molly has served as an Instructional Facilitator in Bethel School District, coaching educators, supporting curriculum and assessment work, mentoring early-career teachers, and facilitating professional learning across content areas. She holds an M.A.T. from the University of Puget Sound and a B.A. in English from Lewis & Clark College.

Outside of work, Molly enjoys cooking and baking, reading, and pursuing a range of artistic hobbies.
