Strategic Initiatives

We center our work around four key strategic priorities designed to support students from their first day on campus through graduation. New Student Onboarding welcomes incoming students through programs like LUTE Welcome orientation, the First Year Experience Program, and the PLUS 100 first-year seminar course. Leadership Learning helps students build leadership skills throughout their time at PLU, while Professional Development prepares them with the skills and experiences needed to grow beyond the classroom. Finally, Wellbeing Ecology — including the THRIVE at PLU initiative — takes a comprehensive approach to supporting student health and wellbeing across campus.
