Biography

Dr. McFadden is a registered nurse with a background in pediatrics, both acute and primary care, as well as public health. She has a longstanding passion for vaccination, with research centered on vaccine acceptance, public policy, and the COVID-19 pandemic. More recently, her work has focused on nursing education, particularly in the areas of clinical evaluation and competency-based education. A proud PLU alum, Dr. McFadden is thrilled to be working with PLU students and contributing to their professional growth.
