Biography

ShaunaLee Martin, MSN, RN, CEN is a new Clinical Adjunct with PLU and currently an Assistant Professor in the Nursing Program at Centralia College. She earned her BSN (2007) and MSN in Nursing Education (2013) from the University of Central Florida. Go Knights!! With 19 years of experience as a registered nurse, including 17 years in emergency nursing, brings extensive acute care clinical experience to nursing education.

She has been teaching in clinical, simulation, and nursing skills laboratories since 2009. Her professional and teaching interests include rural nursing and healthcare, emergency nursing, simulation, and professional identity development. Shauna is passionate about preparing nursing students to develop strong clinical skills, confidence, and a professional identity as they transition into the nursing profession.
