Artistic Achievement Awards
Artistic Achievement Awards and limited endowed scholarships are offered in renewable amounts ranging up to $7,500 per year and are in addition to academic merit awards. Students may apply in multiple areas.
To be considered for an Artistic Achievement Award for the 2020-21 academic year, please complete both an admission application to PLU as well as a scholarship award form (links below). You DO NOT have to be admitted to PLU to apply for an award. Applications for the 2020-21 academic year are due February 14, 2020, and all deadlines are absolute. Applications received after the deadline will be considered second round applications. Awards in second round consideration may or may not be available.
Dance at Pacific Lutheran University provides opportunities in performance, choreography, and dance technique for both dancers and those enrolled in our Musical Theatre program. We have two companies for dance performance: Dance Ensemble and Dance Team.
Applications for 2020-21 are being accepted now and are due February 14, 2020. Auditions and interviews for Dance Artistic Achievement Awards will take place Saturday, February 22, 2020.
Theatre at Pacific Lutheran University provides many artistic and technical opportunities through our nine to ten annual productions. The program is housed in the new Karen Hille Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, which includes our Studio Theater, Eastvold Stage and state-of-the-art scenic, costume and lighting shops. Artistic Achievement Awards are given in the three distinct areas that mirror our BFA degrees: Musical Theatre, Acting/Directing and Design/Technical.

Early Auditions for Theatre: Applications are due January 10, 2020, with auditions held January 18, 2020.
Regular Auditions for Theatre will take place Friday and Saturday, February 21-22, 2020.
