Spring 2026 Elections

The ASPLU Program Review Team is excited to announce the elections for the 2026-2027 academic year for ASPLU Executives and Representatives. In this email, you will find position descriptions, campaign timelines and policies, and links to various documents detailing the campaign process.

There are 10 elected representatives and 4 hired positions through various communities on campus. Each of these representatives is essential in representing the PLU student community as a whole. More information will be listed in detail within the election packets so please look at them accordingly for the role you are interested in representing. We encourage all interested individuals to run for positions. Training is provided for all new members of ASPLU.

ASPLU Elections Resources & FAQs

All candidates must thoroughly read the Election Packet for the position they are running for prior to submitting their election materials. Candidates are responsible for providing all materials and following all policies as they are outlined in the election packets.

In order to be considered an active candidate, please make sure to submit your election materials using this form no later than Monday, April 27th @ 11:59pm. Extensions will not be granted. It is encouraged to submit your materials and begin campaigning as early as possible.

Spring 2026 Election Timeline

  • Campaigning: Tuesday, April 14th @ 8:00am – Monday, April 27th @ 11:50pm
    • Campaigning may only begin after all election materials, including a campaign plan, have been submitted here
  • Elections: Wednesday, April 29th @ 8:00am – Thursday, April 30th @ 4:00pm
  • Swearing-in: Tuesday, May 12th @ 5:30pm

Campaign Spending & Poster Printing

Each candidate will have up to $35 provided by ASPLU for the purchase of campaign materials. All candidates will have access to print up to 40 posters using the printer in the ARENA (AUC 172).
