Michael Farnum (also answers to Mike) was born in Hawaii and raised in Florida and Kentucky. Michael was a very poor grade school student who was held back twice in the 6th grade ultimately quitting the 10th grade to join the US Army. Earning his GED and scoring high enough to earn a real high school diploma Mike went on to have a stellar 23 year career as a Cavalryman and a Drill Sergeant, retiring from the Army in 2007. As a re-engaged adult learner michael has earned an Associate of Applied Science Natural Resources Geographic Information Systems, A Bachelors Degree Environmental Studies with a Minor in Geo-Science, and a Masters of Business Administration. Michael is a father of 3 Dustin, David and Kelsey, grandfather of two Damian and Elzisa and is a total nerd for his 1943 WWII jeep. Mike serves the military affiliated students on campus from recruitment through to graduation and even assists with career transition.
