For students beginning Summer 2026, the tuition cost for the 80-credit, Doctor of Nursing Practice program is $99,360 or $1,242 per semester hour and will take 36 months to complete (full-time).
Tuition is based on a cohort model. Students must complete the program with their cohort to remain eligible for cohort pricing.

Doctor of Nursing Practice - Post Master's (APRN prepared) to DNP
2026-27 Tuition Cost

For students beginning Summer 2026, the tuition cost for the 35-credit, APRN Prepared Doctor of Nursing Practice program is $43,050 or $1,242 per semester hour and will take 24 months to complete (full-time).
Tuition is based on a cohort model. Students must complete the program with their cohort to remain eligible for cohort pricing.

The $5,000 PLU Alumni Scholarship is a one-time scholarship automatically awarded in the first term of the program to graduate students who also earned their bachelor’s degree from PLU. (Restrictions apply to those students who are also PLU staff, and international scholarship recipients.)
Applicants who are not PLU alumni are automatically considered for this one-time merit scholarship, which, if awarded, will be applied to the first term of the program.
The International Grant is awarded to degree-seeking international students who do not qualify for the Nordic Grant. $7,000 is awarded for the first year of the program and $3,500 awarded for the second year (only for 2-year program options). (If awarded the International Grant, applicants are not eligible to receive PLU Alumni or Graduate Academic Scholarships.)
The Nordic Opportunity Grant is awarded to degree-seeking citizens of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. $7,500 is awarded for the first year of the program and $5,000 awarded for the second year (only for 2-year program options). (If awarded the Nordic Opportunity Grant, applicants are not eligible to receive PLU Alumni or Graduate Academic Scholarships.)
The Graduate Scholarship (GRD) through the Washington State Opportunity Scholarship provides valuable financial aid for students pursuing advanced degrees as nurse practitioners. The scholarship aims to increase the number of advanced degree health professionals providing health care in medically underserved areas. The GRD Scholarship award value is up to $25,000 over three years.
The application is open March 17, 2026 – May 12, 2026.
The Health Professional Scholarship Program (HPSP) provides financial assistance to students receiving education or training in a direct or indirect health-care services discipline (Title 38 and Hybrid Title 38 occupations); and assists in providing an adequate supply of such personnel for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). HPSP helps the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) meet its need for qualified health care professionals for which recruitment or retention is difficult.
