Washington Women In Need Education Grant Accepting Applications

For the 2019-2020 school year WWIN will make up to 130 Education Grants, each worth up to $5,000 to be used for tuition and required books at Washington State Colleges and Universities.

In addition, women will be selected that exceptionally represent WWIN’s values, to join our Star Scholar program where they are eligible to receive up to $5000 per year, and $20,000 toward their degree.

Applicants must meet WWIN’s eligibility criteria to be considered, which include being a woman 18 years of age or older, have been a Washington resident for the last 12 months, and are a United States citizen, permanent resident, refugee, asylee or current DACA recipient.

In the past WWIN has required women to be at or below a financial benchmark to be eligible to apply. We have lifted this requirement, and encourage ALL women that resonate with our vision, and are seeking funding for their higher education to apply for a WWIN Education Grant.

Prospective applicants should visit the WWIN website for additional information and to submit an applicationThe application will be open February 11, 2019 – April 15, 2019 with applications being considered on a first come, first served basis.
