The University of Washington is offering two summer REU programs that are open to rising sophomores and rising juniors.  The Clean Energy Bridge to Research focuses on new solar materials, energy storage and grid integration of renewable energy.

The Molecular Engineering Materials Center REU has a special focus on involving veterans.  In the past their veteran participants have found that this was a great way to explore research as a career option and that it gave them a solid high tech experience on their resume.
