How am I matched?

The Lute FASSN leadership team has a primary matching coordinator who connects colleagues seeking support with colleagues who can offer it.

Colleagues *offering* support: Once you volunteer to offer support, you will be placed on a list awaiting matching with someone who is seeking support and expertise that you may be able to offer. You may email at any time to ask to be removed from the list.

Colleagues *seeking* support: Upon completion of the electronic form, colleagues seeking support will be matched with a colleague who has volunteered to offer support and meets their criteria as closely as possible. If no such colleagues are available are available—and after consent is obtained, the Lute FASSN Communications Coordinator will gently nudge the PLU community by sharing an unmet anonymous need in the program and asking if anyone might be suitable and willing to offer support based on that particular experience. (The colleague seeking support would have the choice whether a solicitation is sent, and the name of the participant would *not* be included!) If no colleagues are available to offer support, then the colleague seeking support will be notified and given the option to remain as a candidate in the program if a match joins at a later time.
