Applications for the 2025-26 school year are closed. Applications for the 2026-27 school year will be open in November of 2025.
Study Away in Scandinavia and Beyond!
The mission of the Scandinavian Cultural Center is to enrich understanding of Nordic and Nordic-American cultures in support of PLU’s educational mission and in recognition of PLU’s Nordic heritage. We also recognize the importance of global education, the growing interconnectedness of our world and the transformational experience of learning from, about and within other cultures and communities outside our own.
The SCC supports those experiences through providing scholarships and awards for students participating in Study Away programs through the Wang Center for Global and Community Engaged Education. Priority consideration will be given to those students studying in Scandinavia or Scandinavian-related programs but students in all programs are welcome to apply.
