University Singers

Raul Dominguez, conductor

The University Singers is an advanced soprano-alto choir comprised of singers from many academic disciplines and class ranks. The ensemble meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 1:45-3:15 pm, and presents 1-2 concerts each semester, including the annual Fall Concert, Sounds of Christmas, and Spring Concert. From 2024-2025, the group ranged from 35-40 signers. Highlight performances included a performance off campus at Mt. View Lutheran, movements from Orbán’s Mass No. 6, the Washington premiere of Coty Raven Morris’s Red Velvet Cake, and movements from  Einojuhani Rautavaara’s Suite de Lorca.
