  • Supports faculty in recruiting, advising, orienting students; processes pre-departure requirements and program evaluations
  • Assists with the development and implementation of study away policies and procedures that are aligned with best practices and the Wang Center’s mission and vision for global education
  • Coordinates crisis management

Biography

Megan Grover currently serves as Assistant Director and Short-Term Study Away Program Manager for the Wang Center for Global and Community Engaged Education at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. The foundation for Grover’s profession is globally informed as a result of living in Italy as a child and from having studied abroad in China, Nicaragua, Samoa, and Spain with faculty from the University of Portland. She sees global education as an essential tool in transforming young adults into more self-aware, adaptable citizens who have a greater capacity to effectively engage in and positively contribute to our interconnected global society.
