The Athletic and Recreational Clubs and Organizations on campus strive to better students by utilizing teamwork, embracing challenges, and supporting teammates as well as the Tacoma community. These clubs and organizations are great if you are looking for an encouraging environment while staying physically active with like-minded individuals.

Description:
The Pacific Lutheran University Men’s Lacrosse team is a competitive college lacrosse team that competes against the nation’s top teams in the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA). Founded in 1991, the Lutes Lacrosse Team prides itself on its ability to develop all skill levels, as it hosts players with extensive high school experience to multi-sport athletes that are new to lacrosse.

The PLU Men’s+ Ultimate Frisbee teams are constantly seeking new players to join the highly competitive and supportive community of Ultimate Frisbee. Home to both an (A team and B Team), both teams have had numerous successes, placing high at the conference tournaments, and both competing at the regional level. No experience is necessary to join, and we seek students of all skill levels who are willing to bring good team spirit to the field and an attitude to learn the beloved game of ultimate. Between practices and games, team bonding keeps the competitive atmosphere fun with trips, volunteering, fundraising, and more! The PLU Reign Women’s+ Ultimate Frisbee team strives to provides opportunities for students to compete in the intercollegiate sport of Ultimate Frisbee in a fun, inclusive, and safe environment. We are a group of students who love the sport of water polo. We want to continue to learn and improve at the sport of water polo in a fun and safe environment.
