A student’s health is directly related to his or her ability to learn. These school nurses address the physical, mental, emotional, and social health needs of students and supports their achievement in the learning process.

This course is approved by the Professional Educator Standards Board (PESB) for meeting the requirements for initial certification as a School Nurse.

Prerequisite for this ESA course: Must hold a valid state of Washington Registered Nurse License, and BSN is strongly preferred. Please refer to the OSPI website for addition information.
