We welcome you into Luteville October 3 – 5, 2025 to embrace the energy of Homecoming & Family Weekend! We are making the final touches on some exciting and nostalgic festivities for alumni, students and the PLU community to enjoy. We hope you can join us to ignite your inner Lute in the spirit of celebration.

Community Cup - Sept 30 & Oct 1
Community Cup is an organized competition available for all students to participate in to compete as a representative of their communities (i.e. residence hall community and/or LutesCommute community). Alumni can participate, too, winning points for their residence hall! The Community Cup will have three distinct events to allow students to accrue points for their communities by winning the events, attending the events and/or showing spirit at the events! At the end of the week the winning community will earn the title of “Community Cup Champions” while also be awarded a trophy and a branded T-Shirt (first-come, first-serve) for winning the competition!
Showing Spirit:
Each community has a designated color, which can be used however participants choose to help accrue points for spirit at the events!
The designated colors per communities are as follows:
Harstad – Red, Hinderlie – Pink, Kreidler – Purple, LutesCommute – Black,
Ordal – Orange, Pflueger – Green, South – White, Stuen – Yellow, Tingelstad – Blue

PLU’s student improv comedy group, The Clay Crows, will open for stand-up comedian, Sam Ellefson ’19. Sam is from Minnesota and now lives in Denver. After he left small town America for the Pacific Northwest, he started his comedy career with PLU’s grassroots comedy show (Late Knight) which earned two Northwest Emmy Nominations. Show is free – registration required.

Learn the obscure past, dive into the mysteries, and see behind the scenes of PLU’s greatest spots. Ghost stories, local legends, and that zingy Lutheran humor you have always wanted.
