Welcome to Summer Sessions!

Summer at Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) is an awesome opportunity to continue your education while enjoying the beautiful PLU campus, community events, and so much more!  Many on-campus resources are available for students.  Check out what we offer below!

Events are dependent on safety issues and Department of Health regulations.

CAMPUS EVENTS

Enjoy music performances, good company, and sweet treats with the PLU and Parkland community! Fresh fruit desserts are free with a PLU ID, or $2.50 otherwise (cash only), while supplies last.

PLU’s annual Jazz Under the Stars professional summer concert series is a tent-pole of the summer season. This series is FREE to the public, our gift to our community.

Dates TBA!

Faculty, staff, students, and alumni can receive discounted tickets to a Rainiers game, typically in late summer. Dates are usually announced after the start of Summer Sessions.

Please check the Campus Calendar for events on campus or for the campus community.

The Academic Assistance Center (student peer tutoring program) at PLU offers very limited tutoring during summer sessions, based on tutor availability. Content tutoring may be available for biology, chemistry, or economics/statistics. All tutors are well trained in learning and study strategies, so any available tutor can help students with issues related to time management, critical reading, note taking, or test preparation. Available summer session tutors will be listed on our website with their PLU email address for on-call tutoring appointments. Study strategy handouts are also available on the website.
