Stick to the PLU Color Scheme
- Use the PLU colors
- Black – Hex #000000
- Gold – Hex #FBBA37
- White – Hex #FFFFFF
- You can also use almost any shade of gray. Some good ones to use are:
- Hex #333333
- Hex #666666
- Hex #999999
Copying and Pasting
If you’re copying and pasting from another source, it’s a good idea to first copy the text into Notepad to get rid of any formatting. Then copy the text from Notepad and paste that into WordPress.
If you paste directly into WordPress, you’re apt to copy not just the words but also the formatting from the original source, which will override all the default styles and settings for PLU webpages. The goal is for all PLU pages to have the same style for a cohesive look across the university.
Use Page Building and the Built-In Elements
Please don’t write your own html/css and add it to the “code” tab. Use our page builder and our built-in elements/tools. Again, this is for the goal of all PLU pages to have the same style for a cohesive look across the university.
