The Spring 2019 scholarship application is now closed for review.
The Center for Gender Equity is honored to announce a new scholarship. The Alger LGBTQ+ Scholarship is a $1750 award designed to lift up and affirm LGBTQ+ students at PLU. *
This scholarship is attached to an internship position that requires that the recipient commit 10hrs/week as The Queer and Trans Programming Intern at the CGE. This scholar/intern will receive support and supervision from Talcott Broadhead, the Director of the Center for Gender Equity, and Luke Ruiz, the Assistant Director of the Diversity Center.
Through collaborative support, networking and collective programming this intern will bring fresh and relevant queer and trans programming to our PLU community.

Spring semester 2019 Application decision: February 15th, 2019
Queer Trans Programming Intern start date for Spring 2019 : some time between Feb. 18th and Feb. 25th based upon readiness and availability of the selected recipient.
* Prospective students may apply for consideration if they can demonstrate that they have been accepted and will be enrolled at PLU during the scholarship period they apply for.
