Biography
Joe Bolton is a PhD Candidate at Washington State University (defending this Fall 2025). His research focuses on judicial politics (e.g., constitutional law, media and the courts), political polarization, and the determinants of counter-partisan policy reform. He has taught at multiple universities, including Gonzaga University, Boise State University, and the University of Idaho.

“The Search for Counter-Partisan Reform: Ideology & Influence in Medicaid, Marijuana, and the Minimum Wage.”
