About the Closet

The Closet is available to current students and alumni within one year of graduation. It offers professional attire donated by PLU staff, alumni, faculty, and community supporters. All items are free to keep. While there is no official limit, we encourage taking only what you need.

Types of items available:
Blazers, sweaters, blouses, shirts
Dress pants, skirts, ties, belts, shoes, and more!

OPEN HOURS

Drop-in Hours:
Monday–Thursday
9am – 12pm & 1pm – 4:30pm

Students can also schedule a styling appointment with a career coach
via Handshake.

LOCATION

Nesvig Alumni Center (across from the Anderson University Center)

Please check-in on the top floor (main entrance). Bottom entrance is available for students with accessibility needs.

Who can access the closet?

Current students, and alumni within 1 year of graduation.

What is the process?

You can either make an appointment in Handshake, or stop by during our hours of operation to utilize the closet. Once you arrive to the Nesvig Alumni Center, please check-in at the front desk and provide your student ID number. Once you select items to keep from the closet, please make note of it on the clipboard provided.

Can I try on items?

Yes! A mirror will be available in the clothing closet area. Plus, two private restrooms are available in the Nesvig Alumni Center (one on each floor) to try on clothing items.

What sizes are available?

We are committed to offering a range inclusive styles across gender and sizes, as items are available.
