Women’s Ultimate Frisbee

Women's Ultimate Frisbee

The Pacific Lutheran University Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team provides opportunities for students to compete in the intercollegiate sport of Ultimate Frisbee. It helps to bring college students together to compete in a friendly yet competitive environment. No experience is necessary to join, and we seek students of all skill levels who are willing to bring good team spirit to the field and an attitude to learn the beloved game of ultimate.

Interested in joining?  Contact coach Ryan Mitchell at mitcherm@plu.edu or womenult@plu.edu

Player Perspective:

“The Ultimate Frisbee team at PLU is fun for all players whether they are just starting out or have been playing the game for years. We have a great time at practices, yet we are still very competitive when we attend tournaments. This is a great team to join if you are looking to meet new people and play a fun, fast growing sport.”

Meet Our Captains

Genevieve is a senior majoring in Biology. She enjoys long walks on the beach and jumping out of planes. You will probably see her hiding out in the library working on pre-labs if she’s not tossing a disc.

Meet Karin the sassiest senior captain who can shimmy fake anyone. This is Karin’s 4th year on the team. She is currently studying away in Norway, but will be back in Spring because we miss her too much.

This is Liz’s 3rd year on the team. She’s majoring in Math  with the hope of going to grad school to become a high school teacher. If she’s not distracted by a dog she’s probably laughing at her own jokes. Ask her a joke and you’ll probably be disappointed.
