Responsibilities

  • Provide vision, support, and leadership for the Ed.D and principal programs.
  • Coordinate, oversee, and support the Ed.D program and programs within PPD.  This includes add on endorsements, clock hour offerings, mentoring, and learning institutes.
  • Support PLU Education faculty, staff, and university partners on the Ed.D and principal programs.
  • Orient participants and faculty to program requirements.
  • Support education leadership students with registration, content, and internship planning and all program responsibilities.
  • Participate in state-wide/national policy development meetings.
  • Manage external contracts and agreements.
  • Provide professional development and clock hour offerings for teachers, assistant principals, and principals.
  • Design and revise as necessary all PPD program curricula to align with state/national standards.
  • Expand the scope of PPD through the creation and development of new programs in partnership with Education.

Biography

Hello!  My name is Cleo Moore.  I attended PLU for my undergraduate degree and also completed the PLU Principal Program.  Go Lutes!  I am so privileged to have returned to my alma mater as the Educational Leadership Program Coordinator.  I live in University Place with my husband, Zach, and toddler, Hensley.  I have been a teacher and administrator in University Place School District for the past decade.  I am incredibly passionate about educational leadership and supporting principal and doctoral candidates in expanding their impact on the academic achievement and growth of all students.  I am privileged to support these impactful programs at PLU.   Please reach out to me with any questions.
