Rachelle Lanae, Therapist in Training

Hello! My name is Rachelle (she/her), and I’m a master’s student in Couple and Family Therapy at Pacific Lutheran University. My professional background includes music, education, life coaching, and supporting disabled and neurodivergent folks in daily life. I have always been interested in helping people express themselves and harness their innate resilience to create change.

I approach therapy with the belief that you already have all the ingredients necessary to flourish. I support individuals, partners, and families in navigating challenges and cultivating meaningful change. I use a systemic lens, which means I look at people within the context of their relationships, communities, and lived experiences—understanding that healing often happens through connection rather than isolation.

I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space where clients feel empowered to embrace their most authentic selves. As someone who is multiply neurodivergent, I’m especially passionate about offering therapy that is anti-ableist and disability affirming.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy aerial hoop, spending time with my cats and plants, reading, and doing creative projects.
