Vocational Exploration
Let us help you explore your vocation! Vocational discernment is a life-long educational process that often intersects with choosing a major and a career. Sometimes your vocation is fulfilled through your work, sometimes through your activities outside of work but almost always results in service to others. Vocational exploration involves thinking, acting and reflecting. Here are some opportunities and resources to help you begin the journey.
- Attend the EXPLORE! Retreat during January of your first year at PLU.
- Develop and ask yourself some “big enough questions” to gain clarity.
- Learn about what vocation means through the Wild Hope Center for Vocation
- Schedule a conversation with a Career Counselor.
