Fall Wellness 2017

Core Fitness

When: Mondays, 12:15-12:45pm
Dates: September 18-December 4 (No Class on Oct. 9)
Where: Memorial Gymnasium
Cost: $20
Minimum Enrollment: 15
Instructor: Allison Stephens
Description: 30 minutes of strength and flexibility exercises focusing on the entire core.  Please bring a mat.

Walk Live

When: Tuesdays, 5:15-5:45pm
Dates: September 19-December 5
Where: Columbia Center
Cost: $20
Minimum Enrollment: 15
Instructor: Paula Battle
Description: Join us for aerobic calorie burning walk classes conducted using indoor walking techniques.  Exciting, motivating music designed for pace and speed, along with four basic steps and strength training combos make this calorie torching, fat burning, stress releasing group fitness aerobic walk fun and suitable for all Walks of Life! Please wear comfortable clothes and fitness shoes, and bring a water bottle.

Yoga/Pilates

When: Wednesdays, 12:15-12:45pm
Dates: September 20-December 6 (No class on Oct. 11)
Where: Memorial Gymnasium
Cost: $20

Instructor: Allison Stephens
Description: We’ll take 30 minutes to stretch, strengthen, and re-focus using beginner Yoga and Pilates exercises.  This session will combine restorative movement and muscle-building core work.  Bring a mat or towel to lay on and wear flexible clothing.

 

Cardio Kick

When: Thursdays, 12:15-12:45pm
Dates: September 21-December 7 (No class on Thanksgiving, Nov. 23)
Where: Columbia Center
Cost: $20

Instructor: Ebony Weber
Description: This class is a combination of cardio, toning, boxing, and marital arts set to high-energy music. Basic punching and kicking combinations will be taught along with cardio and toning exercise providing a total body workout. This class is aimed to improve strength, aerobic fitness, flexibility, coordination and balance. All fitness levels are welcome!
