T-Town Chamber Music Festival at Pacific Lutheran University

The T-Town Chamber Music Festival, previously presented by the Tacoma Youth Symphony Association (TYSA), is a summer festival and institute in Tacoma, WA, bringing together world-class faculty and talented young musicians (college/grad students) for intensive chamber music training and performances, featuring diverse classical music in various venues like PLU’s Lagerquist Concert Hall, building community connections through accessible, inspiring music.

Important Dates & Registration

March 10: Application deadline. Late applications will be accepted through March 15 with an accompanying application fee of $75.
March 30: Admission notifications sent to applicants via email.
April 10: Invitation acceptance deadline. A deposit of $200 is due.

Audition Recordings Guidelines

Audition recordings are to be submitted as unlisted YouTube links emailed to Oksana Ejokina at ejokinoa@plu.edu by March 10, 2026.

Two contrasting solo works (individual movements from larger works are acceptable) and a chamber music piece. Your recording should be at least 20 minutes in length and represent your best playing.

Tuition (Including Room & Board)

Tuition is due in full by May 15, 2026, and is non-refundable after June 1, 2026.
Scholarship assistance is available, based on financial need.
